Avatar - tale of the tall blue amazonian people

This weekend I watched Avatar in 3D. This was the first full length movie that I watched in 3D. At first the 3D effect was really in your face, but just like watching a subtitled movie, you quickly forgot about the 3D effect and enjoy the movie.

The itself was REALLY good, I would say a “must see”. Just keep in mind that this is about a 3 hour movie, so make sure to hit the bathroom before the movie. Otherwise you could run the risk of having a “warm” seat due to the fact you won’t want to leave during this great story line.

The story line of the Na’vi, the blue amazonian people of the movie, reminded me a lot of how Native Americans with regarded to mother earth and other creatures around them.

Well that’s all… don’t want to give away anything with regards to the movie. I just thought it was awesome, doesn’t matter if you watch it in 3D though, and worth the ridiculous cost of movie tickets to see it on the big screen.
