With an Associate’s degree in Applied Science, I’ve been working in the high tech industry since 1998. Started my career at Ninelives, Inc., creating and redesigning Web sites using a combination of HTML, CSS, ASP and Access database. Since then, I spent four years at Microsoft as a Web development engineer and software developer. In 2003, joined the development team at Diligenz, Inc. as Web development team lead where I maintained B2B Web services solutions among other things. Left the company in 2007 to spend a year at AT&T Mobility before becoming a member of the IT team at Zenic Cubed in 2008.So I posted a few days ago that I got (err, ordered) a new Nexus One from Google. Well I just got it in today and so far, I love. There are a few games/apps that I would love to see ported to the Android platform, but I’m sure I’ll find new apps and games.
I’ve been a iPhone user since the first day the iPhone 3G was released (yes, I stood in a LONG line for it on release day). All in all, I think the Nexus one has a very nice design, responsive UI. The speech recognition is pretty accurate, and using it to search Google is great.
I’m sure there will be more at some point with regard to the Nexus One, for now, I like it much better than the iPhone. Soon as my contract has ended with AT&T I will most likely move to TMobile so that I can get 3G speeds, right now only EDGE works on the AT&T network.
